Color shift

A measure of the variation in color rendition between two images.

Color shift is a general term that means variable or unfaithful color rendition. Color shift is a measure of the amount of change in the hue of colors when those colors are recorded or displayed in a particular format or on a particular device. Typically, the higher quality formats or devices lead to more noticeable color shifts.
