The ratio between a digital video and its normalized representation.

In the context of digital video, conversion refers to the ratio between a digital video and its normalized representation. Normalization is done to all R, G, and B values at peak white (R = G = B = 1), and the digital signals are represented on a scale of 256 (8 bits).
