SMPTE 240M

An interim color space standard used during the early days of HDTV (1988-1998).

The SMPTE 240M standard was an interim color space standard used during the early days of HDTV (1988-1998). It has been superseded by Rec. 709. It is almost identical to the Adobe RGB color space.
