As you probably noticed, the front page of this website still says "under construction." That's because -- you guessed it -- videocide is still under construction. Duh!
That being said, I don't expect the site to ever be "complete": it will be forever in progress. That's how it was designed from the start.
During the last few days, I've been busy transferring part of our assets and digital infrastructure to a different VPS. In order to focus on the multiple tasks at hand, I had to suspend most of our sister and collateral sites down. It was an enormous amount of work, but it was worth the effort. It forced me and the rest of the team to revisit many of our processes and in-house tools. In doing so, we managed to identify a better backlog for future features, and also to fix bugs that went unnoticed since the beginning of this enterprise. Here's a list of the things I've learned (again) during this technology migration sprint:
