7 Tips for Making Great Student 'pitch' Videos for video Contests. This blog post will give you several tips for making great student pitch videos. Both challenges have students designing stem or STEAM solutions to our world problems and submitting their solutions via video and an online application form.

1 - Get clear on your focusLook at the rubric for the contest. Additionally, if students can make it look as if a product or invention already exists or help the viewer picture a world with this solution, it will help cement the idea in the mind of the viewer. 2 - Shoot b-roll from the BeginningAfter you shoot your film with students speaking, you may need extra footage to be shown while the talking is happening.
