In pursuit of this project one should seek input form all sorts of media. A good editor will know the industry and be a consumer of art. Additionally a good editor must have strengths that all film industry professionals have: active, collaborative, like-ability, a thick skin, uniqueness, and flexibility. The more information and research you have, the more points of view you will have and that will aid your editing thought process.
