Edit is an online template-based design application that allows you to create design items and widgets with minimal efforts. The application is similar to others in the same category, while it offers an extended choice of design features. To create a YouTube video thumbnail using Edit, log in to your account. If you don't have an Edit account, create a new one. Most Edit features can be used in the free tier.

  1. From Edit's main screen, switch to the Templates section and type YouTube in the search box.
  2. Scroll and locate a suitable design in the list.
  3. Click on each element you want to personalize and make all the necessary adjustments, such as text and graphics, effects, etc.. You can change everything you want within the limits of the chosen template.
  4. Click the Save button on the top bar.
  5. Click the Download button and select your preferred |file format|.
